Zaira is a featured bride in our wedding portraits. She can mix many looks relaxed to high-end fashion. I am simply amazed.
We achieved the shoot because of them:
- We borrowed the gown from a known fashion designer
- Hair and makeup by Bea Cuarteron
I have used the following to achieve these shots:
- Canon Rebel camera
- Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens
I used natural light for this shoot as I want to portray a bright, relaxed tone in the photos. I also do not want to waste the model’s time by setting up light modifiers as it breaks the energy.
As a wedding photographer, I am expected by my clients to direct them in posing. For wedding portraits, It is very crucial for my subjects to relax so I talk to them first, get to know them and try to win them. Once they are comfortable then the job becomes easier.
My concept for this shoot is to just let Zaira enjoy the environment around her. So, I asked her to breathe deeply and feel the breeze of fresh air. To my surprise, she projected the pose and the emotions very well.
Emotion is the key in photography.
I post-process my images depending on the theme that I’m shooting. For this shoot, I made sure that I stick with natural tones. I want to make sure that the make-up stays intact in post-processing. Most of my wedding clients prefer natural colors in the edits so I ensure that I stick with their requirements.
