Capturing Beauty with a Purpose: The Official 2025 Miss Philippines Earth Portraits
To begin with, I’m still buzzing from last week’s shoot. In fact, I had the honor of shooting the official portraits for the 2025 Miss Philippines Earth candidates at the amazing Q Studio in Makati. Then, as soon as we started, the whole room was electric. Undoubtedly, you could really feel it. Truly, for me as a photographer, this is the kind of work I live for—specifically, telling someone’s story and showing their strength, particularly for a cause that means so much.
Behind the Lens: A Miss Philippines Earth Photoshoot
Of course, my goal wasn’t just to take pretty pictures. To illustrate, the Miss Philippines Earth pageant is special because it’s all about being a “Beauty for a Cause.” As a result, I really wanted these photos to show the passion and purpose each woman has.
In addition, Q Studio was a great place for the shoot, and furthermore, the whole team brought so much energy. Ultimately, my main job was to connect with each candidate, make them feel at ease, and in turn, let their true confidence come out. After all, when someone feels good about themselves in front of the camera, that’s when the magic happens.
The Journey of a Miss Philippines Earth Portrait
Certainly, these photos aren’t just for show; in fact, they’re how the world will first meet the candidates. Consequently, a great photo can really shape that first impression with the judges and everyone watching. Then, during the pageant, for example, these pictures will be right there with them, showing what they stand for. For this reason, it’s a huge honor to know my work is part of their journey, which in turn helps them campaign for the crown and for our planet.
