Overview
As a photographer, there are certain shoots that you know are going to be special from the get-go. The photo session I had with Ahleya, in a gorgeous forest setting, was one of those shoots. It was a perfect blend of natural beauty and human elegance that left us all in awe. In this post, I’ll take you through the details of the photo shoot, the equipment used, and how we got those stunning shots.
Location and Attire
The shoot took place in a dense forest area, which provided a stunning and dramatic backdrop for our shots. Ahleya wore a flowing, floor-length dress in a deep shade of green that complemented the forest setting perfectly. The dress added an air of elegance and mystique to the images, making Ahleya look like a mythical forest nymph.
Equipment Used
For this shoot, we used a Nikon D750 camera with two lenses – the Nikon 35mm f/2D and the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM. The Nikon D750 is a full-frame camera that offers excellent image quality, while the lenses provided us with the versatility we needed to capture the shots we wanted.
The 35mm lens allowed us to capture wider shots that showcased the beauty of the forest setting, while the 85mm lens was perfect for capturing Ahleya’s stunning features up close. The fast aperture of the Sigma lens allowed us to create a beautiful shallow depth of field, which helped to isolate Ahleya from the background and draw attention to her.
Photo Session Details
We started the shoot by scouting the forest area for the perfect location. We found a clearing with a tree stump that provided a perfect spot for Ahleya to stand and pose. We used natural light for most of the shoot, with some fill light from a reflector when necessary.
The key to capturing the shots we wanted was to find the right balance between the natural elements of the forest and the elegance of the dress and model. We experimented with different poses, angles, and lighting setups until we found the perfect combination that brought everything together.
Post-Processing
After the shoot, we carefully selected the best shots and brought them into post-processing. We used Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance the images, bringing out the colors and adding a touch of magic to the final shots. We focused on preserving the natural elements of the forest while also bringing out the elegance of Ahleya and her dress.
Conclusion
The photo session with Ahleya in the forest was a magical experience that resulted in some stunning images. With the right equipment, location, and attention to detail, we were able to capture the natural beauty of the forest and the elegance of our model.
